Bankole stated that the event will encompass all categories of the game, including competitions for both disabled and able-bodied participants.
The inclusive nature of the tournament aims to foster a spirit of unity and encouragement across generations and abilities.
“The concept of the program is to encourage generations and showcase the talents of all participants, especially the disabled,” she stated. “All sessions for the disabled will be staged to highlight their skills and to motivate them.”
The tournament promises to be a significant event with a total of 28 overall winners emerging from all categories. The winners will be determined as follows:

Bankole emphasized that this structure will ensure a comprehensive recognition of talent across the different categories of the competition. Registration for the tournament will commence on August 10.
The Kwara Open Table Tennis Tournament is expected to draw attention, encourage participation, to promote sportsmanship and inclusivity within the community and the entire state at large.
