The 2023 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has said the police arrested popular Isese activist, Adegbola Abdulazeez, a.k.a. Talọlọrun, with a fake warrant.
Sowore made this known in a post shared on his Facebook page, Sunday.
“#FreeTaniOlorun: The charade by special interests in Ilorin to secretly jail Tani Olohun exposed, first they got a fake arrest warrant from Area Court to get him arrested, now asking state govt to let them prosecute him without involving the DPP’s office,” his post read.
Talolorun was arrested and remanded in a correctional centre until October 5, for insulting the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, some Islamic clerics in the state, among other offences.
