Kwara United Will Visit Lagos With A High Spirit In The NPFL MD26 Encounter With Sporting Lagos.

Kwara United will go on high spirits to file out against Sporting Lagos in the MatchDay 26 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on Sunday at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

It will be a second time meetings between the two sides in a competitive game.

Paul Offor’s side who are making their debut in NPFL have been doing themselves good blowing teams away at their base.

Their latest victory at home was against Remo Stars in Southwest derby annihilated the Ikenne said by 4-1.

Meanwhile, Kwara United have also do themselves good in the midweek encounter by defeating stubborn and resilience Bayelsa United by a lone goal.

Two place and points separating both teams on the log with Kwara United sitting in 15th position with 29 points while Sporting Lagos are in 13th position with 31 points.

Sporting Lagos have won eight and drawn four in 12 matches they have played at home this season, scoring 20 and conceded 7, while Kwara United have scored 7 and conceded 14 on the road.

As both teams go toe to toe on Sunday, with Kwara United searching and poising for their first victory on the road, draw and lost six apiece in the ongoing campaign away from home.
