Minister of Labour and Employment Hon. Simon Lalong has appeals to NLC over 2-day warning strike.
The Hon. Minister of Labour and Employment, Hon. Simon Lalong made the appealed during a press conference on Monday.
He appealed to the Nigerian Labour Congress to suspend their 2-day warning strike.
Lalong said such action will be detrimental to the gains already being recorded by this administration in securing a greater future for Nigerian’s workers and citizens at large.
Furthermore he stressed, that the cabinet of this administration was recently sworn in, noting that all cabinet members have hit the ground running to address issues raised by the leadership of NLC.
The Minister requested that, NLC should give this government some time to settle and address the issues on the ground holistically.
He however, reassured workers, that this government would never take them for granted nor fail to appreciate their support and understanding whatsoever.
