Makamz FA showed their worth and capability in an hilarious friendly encounter against Lucky Stars, the tie ended 8-1 at Sheikh Abdulkadir Colleague pitch in Ilorin over the weekend.
Passions were displayed by Coach Oniye led side, Kolawole Daniel showed sumptuous performance as he scored beautiful hat-trick in the encounter.
The team left no stone unturned as they pressed for more goals going forward to disgrace Lucky Stars.
Olanrewaju Faruq and Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq also registered their name on the score sheet with a brace from each respectively and Adeleye Solomon scored a goal to complete the rout over the opponents.
The head coach of Makamz FA, coach Oniye Mohammed Olatunji praised his boys for showing bravery, resilience and putting in the hard work against Lucky Stars FA.
He noted that despite the victory, there still some lapses to be worked on his boys as the team is gearing up for the resumption of U-16 YEG League.
“So the boys are doing great even the 8-1 we won, we still see some lapses in our boys, which we are going to work on that before our next game against Koller FA” He noted.
“This is the reason why we played this friendly match to test run how prepared our boys are for now before we go and play our next match which is going to be the week 11 the last match for the first leg of this league” He said.
Recall that Makamz FA emerged as the champions of U-15 YEG Championship earlier this year.
The team will lock horns with Kollar Future Kiddie’s FA on Thursday 18 April, 2024 at Sheikh Abdul Quadri Pitch in the match week 11 which is the last match for the first leg of the U-16 YEG League
