MSG Needy Care Foundation Sponsors 26 Students For JAMB Exam -

MSG GIVES FREE JAMB FORMS TO 26 STUDENTS

A Non-Governmental Organization, the MSG Needy Care Foundation, has distributed at least 26 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to indigent but brilliant secondary school students in Ilorin Emirate.

No fewer than 58 students participated in the qualifying examination for the scholarship but 26 who made the set pass mark were picked for the scholarship.

The qualifying examination was held at Junior Secondary School, Pake, Ilorin while the JAMB registration took place at Socrates College, Aromaradu, Ilorin.

Most of the qualified candidates are indigent and the scholarship provides an opportunity for them to sit for the next Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examination Board (JAMB).

The beneficiaries commended the sponsor for the opportunity given to them, saying this will go a long way in shaping their future.

In his message to the beneficiaries, the chairman of the MSG Needy Care Foundation, Alhaji Mahmud Sulu-Gambari appealed to them to make judicious use of the opportunity by passing in flying colours during the JAMB examination.

He expressed the commitment of his foundation to continue to impact on the community with special attention on the vulnerable such as children, indigent students and aged.

The MSG Needy Care Foundation established by Alhaji Mahmud Sulu-Gambari has been in the forefront of providing education assistance and food items to widows and the indigent persons during Ramadan and other festive periods.
