NFF Declares Senior And U-17 National Team Head Coach Role Vacant

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has declared the position of Head coach of the Senior Men’s National Team (Super Eagles) and Head coach of the U-17 Boys National Team (Golden Eaglets) vacants.

In a statement released by NFF through their official social media handles on Friday 8th March, 2024 announced the vacancy and requirements for the positions.

The football body stated that, applicants applying for the position of Senior National Team must possess Relevant Coaching qualifications with proven experience at the elite of football management.

NFF further stated other requirements is having a successful track record in leading teams, also noting that knowledge of African Football will be added advantage for the applicants.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is pleased to announce openings for the position of Head Coach for the Senior Men’s National Football Team Super Eagles” NFF stated.

And for the vacancy for the position of Head coach of the U-17 boys National Team (Golden Eaglets) NFF stated applicants must have adequate experience in developing and coaching youth football, ability to motivate and help improve players and also must possess a CAF B license coaching certificate.

“Are you passionate about youth development and coaching? The Nigeria Golden Eaglets, Nigeria’s U-17 Boys National Football Team, are seeking dedicated and experience coach to nurture talent and guide them to success on the international stage”
NFF stated.

Recall that Jose Peseiro announced his departure as Super Eagles coach following his expiration of his contract after securing a silver medal for Nigeria at Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

While Nduka Ugbade was the former coach of the Golden Eaglets, U-17 National Team.
