Alhaji Olatunji Mohammed, CEO of Elado Motors and a key figure in Kwara State’s sports sector, has expressed his satisfaction with Team Kwara’s performance at the ongoing 8th National Youth Games (NYG24) in Asaba, Delta State.
He highlighted that the team’s podium finishes reflect the supportive environment provided by the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Speaking at the media Centre of Stephen Keshi Stadium, Mohammed praised the significant progress seen under the leadership of Mallam Bola Magaji, Executive Chairman of the Kwara Sports Commission, particularly the upgrades to sports facilities such as the Indoor Sports Hall and Africa’s largest squash court.
He believes that Team Kwara will continue to secure more medals, especially in badminton and squash when the events gets underway, and urged the athletes to stay focused and determined.
“I believe our athletes will win more medals especially in Badminton and Squash, I only implore them not loose focus and determined to achieve their target of podium finish”
Mohammed also acknowledged the effective media coverage by Kwara SWAN, which has enhanced the visibility of the state’s athletes at the games.
