Oba-Ara Cup Final: Champions FC Battle Ready For Vision FC In A Pulsating Final

Champion FC are battle ready to face off Vision FC in a pulsating final of Oba-Ara Cup 2023.

The six teams football competition which kicked off last week Monday 11th, December was organized and sponsored by Oba-Ara Engineering Limited in commemoration of the 61 Birthday of former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki CON.

The two sides will slug it out in the final slated for Tuesday 19th, December 2023 at the Unilorin Secondary School Field Adewole Ilorin by 4pm.

Champion FC are the highflyers, playing exciting football.

Champion FC who defeated Future Stars one of the favourites in the semi-final via a penalty shootout will be looking to better off their performance in the final.

Vision FC who surprisingly eliminated another one of the favourites Gaa-Akanbi FC in the semifinals will be in full fledged confidence going into the final with their sumptuous performance in the semis.

Vision FC who always come with pattern of sitting behind and soaking pressure to hit their opponents on the counter will have to plan ahead against attacking style of Champions FC.

The match will see dignitaries across the state to grace the final to celebrate former Senate President Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki CON on his 61st birthday.

The sponsored of the competition Alhaji Yunus Atanda popularly known as “Abule” said the competition is to development togetherness among the youth.

He promised that the finalists and the participating teams will go home with an exciting prizes for honoring and turning up for the tournament despite getting in touch with them few days to the kickoff.

Alhaji Yunus Atanda assured that the competition will be annually, adding that there be more teams in the next edition.
