Saudi Cup 2024 Weekend Begins At King Abdulaziz Race-course, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The long awaited racing event is finally here, the annual last weekend in February event is taking place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

The fifth edition is the overall rated racing event in the history of the tournament since it’s inception in 2020. .

The Saudi Cup is a two-day celebration of international racing, enhanced by an undercard of two Group 2 races, three Group 3 races for Thoroughbreds and two Group 1 contests for Purebred Arabians.

The Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia’s (JCSA) event aims to create awareness of horse-racing in the country, encourage participation of men and women in all areas of the sport, as the event has since its Inception being impacting.

The racing started on a good note and featuring 6 European countries.

Saudi Cup 2024 is bidded for Friday February 23, and Saturday February 24, 2024 and it carries a prize of $37.6m making it richest racing festival in the world.

The full card of racing on the preceding Friday includes an International Jockeys Challenge which sees seven female and seven male jockeys compete as individuals.
