The Senator representing Kwara North in the National Assembly, Senator Sadiq Umar has boosted members of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter ahead of the 2023 National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.
Senator Umar’s support came in the form of logistic support towards accommodating Kwara based reporters to Asaba ahead of the commencement of the 7th National Youth Games, starting in Delta on Wednesday.
The Chairman of Kwara SWAN, Mallam Ayodejii Ismail, said the gesture will go a long way in helping in accommodating members covering the sporting events.
He said Senator Sadiq Umar has shown his commitment in further partnering with the association.
Ayodeji said SWAN is ready to project the activities of the sports loving senator in his constituency.
