Chairman, Kwara State Volleyball Association, Bashorun Kayode Bankole has stated that the State’s Volleyball League will will commence as from January next year.
Bashorun Bankole stated this on Sunday at the closing ceremony of a two day volleyball championship, tagged Cornelius Olowola Memorial Inter Club Volleyball Competition, sponsored by Chief Dele Olowola.
Bankola who is the CEO of Hell bank and vice Chairman of Kwara FA charged various clubs to battle ready for the league and prepare adequately for the licensing of players to ensure smooth take off of the league.
“We will begin to run our league in the state as from January, 2024, I’m charging various clubs to prepare and get set for the commence of the league with players licensing to guarantee hitch free and healthy league ”
The business mogul, hailed the sponsor, Dele Olowola for identifying with the association through sponsorship of the competition, noting that the gesture is an opportunity for other ex players to emulate to further discover more talented future stars in the game of Volleyball.
Dignitaries at the occasion were the sponsor of Championship, his friends and members of the Volleyball family in the state.
