Ahead of Kwara United Football Club’s first home match on Sunday after a season long absence from its home turf, Alhaji Idris Abdullahi Musa, aka Thuraya, chairman, Kwara Football Association, FA, will be featuring on Sports Hard Talk, a news platform of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Kwara Chapter.
The platform is designed by sports writers, principally for news generation by bringing before the press, key stakeholders in sports policy administration in the state and the country at large.
The platform also seeks to explore other aspects of sport news value chain like sports branding, marketing and sports business in general.
Thuraya would be gracing the second edition of the Sports Hard Talk after Alhaji Ibrahim Bako, Sports Director, Kwara Sports Commission, KSC.
The FA chairman, a seasoned sports administrator with corresponding years in the business aspect of soccer management, is believed to be behind recent grassroots penetration of soccer with private sector participating more in football events.
