The House of Representatives member, representing Ilorin South/East constituency, Hon. Yinka Aluko Eso has overwhelmed with the performance of Kwara Teqball Team at the ongoing Teqball Championship qualifiers at the National Indoor Sports hall of Moshood Abiola stadium, Abuja.
Hon. Aluko expressed his feelings as Kwara contingents made it to the final of all the category events of the qualifiers with their impressive and sumptuous performance after blowing away their opponents right from group stage.
Hon. Yinka Aluko while paying a surprising visit to the team urged them to go for Gold.
He said the players look outstanding with their display despite the challenges facing them.
Hon. Aluko promised to assist in solving the team challenges in relevant areas of concern after watching the game.
Aluko noted that, the sport has given the state a positive name, adding that it can be used as a means of livelihood just like football, when it is given proper attention to aid its development.
Earlier chairman Kwara Teqball Alh.Yahaya Yaradua Jimoh, praised Hon. Aluko for taking his time to visit the team at their base despite his tight schedule.
Alh. Yahaya also thanked him for his visits and unwavering supports to the team in cash and kind.
Teqball World Championship qualifiers will end on Sunday (today)
The World Championship will hold in Thailand on 29th, November, 2023.
